British 1796 Light Cavalry Saber

The British 1796 Light Cavalry Saber has an unsharpened, high carbon EN45 spring steel blade. The saber’s hilt is mild steel with a leather wrapped wooden grip. This sword includes an all steel scabbard with steel fittings and hanging rings.

This saber was widely used by the British and their Prussian allies under General Blucher in the Battle of Waterloo. A great slashing and cutting weapon. Can be engraved for an additional fee.
